wade kavanaugh
went to wade kavanaugh’s (aka bisbee’s bonnaroo guru) opening at the bronx museum. his piece was a wooden representation of his foot’s movements while jogging… sixty pieces of wood per foot for a total of thirty feet stretching up a wall in three places. held together with wood glue. check out his stuff at wadekavanaugh.com
my second favorite piece was a bookshelf by some other guy. he took pieces of wood and painted the spine of books on to them, reproducing the self help section from barnes and nobles in its entirety. very detailed and very awesome
my personal britney spears
went to see annie, my princess from norway, last night at the hiro ballroom. i was less than five feet away from her for the entire set (judgie got to hit her digital cowbell…) thats how awesome she is. she has a digital cowbell!!! and she told me to kiss her, feel her heartbeat, and marry her. mmmmmmmmmm so sexy

job! and superheros!
woo. got a job working with a charming 3 1/2 year old girl with autism. part time (10hrs/week) mostly on weekend afternoons but it pays $25/hr. should be a good gig. most of the sessions will be going on field trips with her brother and father.

this danish electrorock band knows that attitude is more important than musicianship in rock music. they know theyre cheezy and they know you’ll like it. has yet to be released anywhere that speaks english, but when it is, i expect a hit.
